Please note that this is an ADAPTER CABLE which does not use software. It should not be attached directly to your laptop - you will need an interface between your cable and laptop.
Is This Connector Compatible With My Vehicle?
This cable is compatible with any OBD II compliant car or van. To check, you need to see if there is a 16 pin Data Link Connector underneath the dashboard of your car. If there is then this product should be compatible with your vehicle.
A small number of 1994 & 1995 vehicles are also OBD II compliant. To verify you need to check the Vehicle Emission Control Information (VECI) label which is located under the hood near the radiator of most vehicles. If compatible the labels states ‘OBD II Certified’.
